Game Review: Lego Jurassic World [PC/PS4/XboxOne]

The chances are if you're a fan of the films, then you know the various storylines collaborated in Lego Jurassic World . Despite the name of this game, this collection does not just include the recent movie release starring Chris Pratt, but includes the first three Jurassic Park films prior to it.

All four Jurassic movies; Island is a joy to explore; Raptor Master Builders; Makes the most from movie licence; Nostalgia like no other; Easy to pick up and play as always

Suffered some odd glitches; Voice dialogue can sound tinny

Traveller's Tales has been creating LEGO games for a long while now, and every time there's a new iteration, they improve on the formula in some way or other. LEGO Jurassic World lets you play through all four Jurassic films, and as we've come to expect from LEGO games, it's packed with puzzles,...

Dinosaurs! | Baby dinosaurs! | Fun puzzles | Captures the atmosphere of the films well | Lots to do | John Williams

Similar to previous LEGO video games | Some frustrating puzzles | Some iffy voice acting

Although I've always been aware of the existence of the LEGO franchise, I had never actually played any of the games. So when LEGO Jurassic World came around, I decided it was time to change that and discover the appeal for myself.

No bite.

When we think of high-budget games, we may think of the cinematic experiences that drag you along a roller coaster-like ride through scripted set pieces and quick time events, like Call of Duty or Uncharted .

Colorful Lego recreations of all four movies; Joyful mix of humor and charm; You get to play as the dinosaurs

Shallow; challenge-free progression; Unimaginative use of imaginative abilities; Movie quotes sound compromised in-game; Lacks Jurassic Park's trademark sense of tension

It's Tyrannosaurus-sized Action With LEGO Jurassic World

Summer movie blockbusters don't generally get bigger than the Jurassic series. Who doesn't love giant dinosaurs stomping around? And, let's not forget that the original Jurassic Park helped to set the standard for modern CGI world-creation that we more or less take for granted today in films.

There is a certain charm that always reigns over everything else with the various LEGO games. You could seemingly apply the formula to any entertainment franchise and it would ultimately be entertaining to some degree.

Very entertaining

Bought as a present for my son's birthday. The game is great graphically and has lots of true-to-film features (as you'd expect from a Lego game). Fun to play and entertaining for the rest of the family to watch. We're all very pleased with it; another fantastic Lego game.

Another great title from LEGO

I bought this for my son on his 5th birthday last month. As with all the Lego games we have played the whole family can enjoy hours of entertainment. There's plenty of characters, dinosaurs and vehicles to unlock and lots of puzzling your way through many levels.
