LEGO City Undercover (Nintendo Switch) Review

LEGO City Undercover begins with the introduction of Chase McCain, a police officer returning after a long absence. He is tasked with apprehending a dangerous criminal that has escaped from prison, which he happened to arrest many years ago.

Lego City Undercover (Switch)

When it was announced that Lego City Undercover was moving off the Wii U and on to other platforms, part of me was very happy, as I remember enjoying the game, no matter the issues it had, but I also wondered if it would compete against the other Lego games that have come out since then.

Review: LEGO City Undercover (Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, PC)

It's the fourth month of 2017, and so far, we've had an unusual amount of solid titles comes out already. My poor wallet hurts because of the onslaught of good games. Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom is a solid action-RPG that adds to the ever growing pile of games to...

Lego City Undercover Review – Long Load Times Don't Topple This Experience

Back in 2013, Lego City Undercover was one of the Wii U's best third-party exclusive games (okay, okay, it was one of the only third-party exclusive games). That was then, this is now, and Lego City Undercover is back and now available on the Switch, Xbox One, PC, and PS4.

2 player couch co-op; Hilarious dialog; Fun story

Awful load times; Some dated references

LEGO City Undercover Review - Is the Switch version a worthwhile investment

Unlike the PC version at current, the Nintendo Switch version of is actually an enjoyable experience. Though it follows the same general thread of other games - destroy the environment and reap the rewards - gives you a less constricted view of the franchise.

Lego City Undercover

We're going to keep to the point in this review, because in terms of content, very little has changed since Lego City Undercover landed on Wii U as a console exclusive way back in 2013.

Lego City Undercover Review

The fact Lego City Undercover exists is impressive. It feels anomalous, a Lego game standing on its own blocky feet without the reliance on a license for its biggest moments or a hulking Lego sculpture but one that instead relies on interesting new mechanics to make its mark.

Once around the block

A solid game that definitely has an audience. Might lack replay value, could be too short or there are some hard-to-ignore faults, but the experience is fun.

There are technical cracks in its brickwork, but in combining the familiar constructs of the LEGO video games with an original story, huge amounts of humour and a ridiculous number of things to collect or discover, LEGO City Undercover proves that LEGO titles can be blockbusters without a big...
