Once thought to be a crazy idea, Traveller's Tales has made a name for themselves with their line of LEGO inspired video games based on licensed

Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham goes the extra light-year when it comes to quality, fun and everything that makes a Lego game great.

So this might surprise you considering what my staff icon is, but I've never really been that into the Lego series of platforming games that have become a genre all on their own.

Poor pacing and the worst celebrity voiceovers of the year mar what could have been the definitive Lego game, but in the end is just another fun but shallow co-op game amongst many.

Huge range of characters and mountains of content and unlockables; Some inspired story missions and the usual super-accessible co-op options and addictive combat and puzzles

The early levels are weak and all the hubs and planets are fairly small; No genuinely new ideas; Little to no explanation for who anyone is; Conan O'Brien and the other celebs are awful

The shrinker of worlds is here and he's coming for planet Earth! But with an array of DC Superheroes populating our planet such as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Cyborg and more, Brainiac will certainly have his hands full.

Same loveable humour; Same pick up and play appeal; Fun storyline; Packed DC roster; Adam West

The series is in need of some innovation and freshening up

The Dark Knight we can safely say – regardless of what medium he is in – is always awesome, and that includes when he is made of LEGO bricks. Given that there has already been two LEGO Batman games, the third ones has to add something special to the DC universe and you'll be happy to hear it does.

i think this game was a nice game. you get to ride in the bat mobile and fight crime. Also get to fight bad guys like joker and the other villans.

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham is another solid entry in the franchise, thanks to a series of new additions that help keep things fresh.

Disappointing after Lego batman 2 and Lego marvel. Very limited free roam, standard level design all makes it feel a step back to the likes of batman 1. The suits are easier as you can change in the fly but you sit there trying to remember who's suit does what.

We could not load properly in the PC, requires high speed broadband connection, to make the game to operate needed 3GB data download. So it's not such launch & play. Experience is pretty frustrating without the proper IT infrastructure and compute knowledge.
