FANTASTIC FUN

The graphics in this iteration are top notch on the PS3 system. The textures & effects look nice and the direction this time around in terms of level design and such has been cranked up to 11. The frame-rate does dip when you play 2 player split-screen, but nothing that detracts from the enjoyment.

PS3 Review: Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes

Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes improves upon its predecessor in every way, while not changing the formula too much for series veterans. Adding in an open world and voice-acting was a big risk, but it paid off and as a result it's the best Lego game that I've played, until Lego LOTR comes out…

Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes Review

If you're a fan of superhero comics, there are many moments that could make you fall in love with Lego Batman 2. It might be the fleeting mention of Ace the Bat-Hound. It might be the discovery that both Hawkman and Hawkgirl are playable characters.

PlayStation 3 Review: LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes

LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes on PlayStation 3 is an absolute blast to play. The game is developer Traveller's Tales' follow-up to their 2008 LEGO Batman: The Videogame . This sequel adds a lot of new features not seen in that game or LEGO games in general.

When you see a box sitting on the store shelf and the name Atlus is on it, what typically runs through your head? Well, one would probably think of words like Japanese, depth, and of course, RPG.

Same Lego charm; New voices are brilliant; Extended level length; Huge replay value

Awkward camera control; Tricky environment negotiation

Lego Batman

Most games aimed towards children are either hastily put together, childish or just plain stupid. With the LEGO series though, you could almost smell the quality and time they put into the games.

LEGO Batman: The Videogame

LEGO Batman: The Videogame is the third LEGO adaptation from Traveller's Tales. They previously took the Star Wars and Indiana Jones universes and converted them into the block form we know and love from our childhood.

Almost every major Batman character represented; Lots or replayabilty; Plenty of unlockables; Danny Elffman soundtrack; Kid friendly

Lack of online mode; Not much innovation from previous LEGO videogames
