Didn't buy from Amazon but wouldn't have made a difference. Lasted less than a year and stopped working. Happy with it until then. Expected more from Kitchen Aid. Expensive mistake.

This toaster toasts OK. Prior to this we had an antique sunbeam toaster that worked beautifully - so this toaster was always going to struggle being compared to that. I don't know the range of what's currently out there ... I thought price might be a guide to quality ... but this isn't worth the extra money paid for it.
