Back to School Review: Kingston 32GB DataTraveler Ultimate 3.0 G2
The Kingston DT Ultimate 32GB G2 is a fantastic USB drive that surpasses even our and Kingston's expectations for the drive. Although the drive itself may be on the pricey side, the performance and quality that you get from this drive are nearly worth every penny.
A lot has happened in the USB 3.0 world since we took a look at Kingston's first ‘Ultimate 3.0′ drive this past fall, and thanks to some progressions, the company has just released a ‘G2′ variant of the drive.
We have in our hands the Kingston's DataTraveler Ultimate 3.0 Generation 3 (DTU30G3), a USB 3.0 flash drive that supports data transfer rates of up to 150MB/s read and 70MB/s write, offering you the convenience of carrying files with incredible speed and ease.

Kingston DataTraveller Ultimate 3.0 G3 64GB USB3.0 Flash Drive Review
Like any other flash drive review that I've done, there are two areas that I'm going to cover to round off this drive, starting off with the aesthetics. Keeping in line with current design trends, its great to see a drive that looks clean a crisp and breaks away from either the plastic moulded route...
Kingston DataTraveler Ultimate 3.0 G3 32GB Flash Drive Review
The Kingston DataTraveler Ultimate 3.0 G3 is a worthy successor to the DataTraveler Ultimate 3.0 G2 and we like the new stylish looks and improved read speeds!
The Kingston DataTraveler Ultimate 3.0 G3 is best used in a USB 3.0 port but is of course compatible with USB 2.0. When used in a USB 2.0 port you do get the advantage of optimized data transfer at full USB 2.0 speeds of 30MB/s Read and 20MB/s Write.
Really fast : ) Too Big : (
It's really fast ~ A + for that. But, it's too big - have to take other cords/ports out to use it on my mac laptop. Wish it came a litter smaller.
