Well-packaged drive (appearance, materials) and seems to work well. Overall excellent value for money for an 8GB flash memory drive.
Today I will be taking a look at one of their latest USB products by way of the DataTraveler microDuo 3.0. This USB is designed to be used not only as a storage device for PCs and laptops but to also allow users to connect it to compatible android devices for a bit of extra storage and to be able to...
While the Kingston doesn't offer much in the way of extras, it's aggressively priced and super quick.
I picked up one of these cause I know Kingston is a top brand. However was kind of disappointed in the build quality, the plastics were cheap, loose and just not pleasant to use. Kingston Technology DataTraveler Kingston's DataTraveler, one of the larger drives we looked at, measures 1 inch wide, 0.5 inches thick, and 3.87 inches long (with the cap on); without the cap, it's small enough that it won't block adjacent USB ports when you plug it into a PC.
Attractive design; relatively inexpensive per megabyte; can password-protect data
Fairly large
USB capacity wars are raging hot. Now memory giant Kingston has upped the ante, introducing the 8 GB DataTraveler Secure Privacy Edition. The drive is dark grey with black rubber piping for grip; it will weather dusty Indian conditions with ease.
Kingston Pendrive gives 29MB/Sec reading speed, 19MB/Sec Writing speed for my Windows 8.1 System. Not Bad at all. Finally am satisfied with this product.
Good for transferring word documents but not much else
perfect for word documents; cheap; looks good
not enough memory; you can get better value for money with higher memory
Really these are nice USB Flash drives, they come pre-formatted to FAT32, and work straight out the box. They are USB 3.0 natively, but will scale down to USB 2.0 and below ports, so I've used these on all my machines.
