"That was an awkward question to ask," someone jumped in as I was having a conversation with another friend. "It was almost like asking when their wedding is." Responding to his remark, I jokingly addressed my friend and said, "So, when's your wedding?

Disapointing as best

I just recieved it today, FINALLY, it was supposed to be here awhile ago. First off, although it holds alot, its ridiculously slow, i could have bought several $5 flash drives that hold 4gigs, and been much happier.
Pros:
  • It does hold alot
Cons:
  • its soooo slooow

Good - some flaws

I recently updated to the 8Gb Kingston memory stick from an old 4Gb (also Kingston) one. In general I'm happy with it (I don't use many large files so can't comment too much on speed as I also don't use any others) and I got it for a good price, however it is only 7.23Gb of usable space compared to...
Pros:
  • Quite cheap
Cons:
  • Not advertised size

Kingston DataTraveler I G3 16 GB

For us memory sticks are still a great way for backing up photo's and video's. Also taking pictures with us for example holiday pictures to show others is very easy to take along with the memory stick.

fast, good customer service, no keychain

I use these for daily backups of a small business system and for portable apps. I had an old usb 2.0 DataTraveler which I used heavily for about 5 years, when suddenly the data on it outputted garbage with foreign characters in the file names.
Pros:
  • Fast
  • Reliable Performance
Cons:
  • Bad Keychain Ring

Works :-)

Works with now real issues on the Mac. The only comment is that it requires "High USB Power" so the USB port on the keyboard is a no go. A minor inconvenience.
