The Kingston DataTraveler Generation 3 (G3) has several practical features going for it. The loop is sturdy and can be attached to a key ring, it works with Linux-based systems and it has a cap that fully encloses the USB connector.

Kingston DataTraveler Hyper X Predator 512GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive Review (Disassembly Piks Included)

In taking a close look at the Kingston DataTraveler Hyper X Predator 512GB USB 3.0 flash drive, a number of thoughts come into play and the first deals with performance.  I will admit that I am an absolute lover of the ‘LSI SandForce Driven' SuperTalent Express RC8 and it is with me always.  It was

Kingston DataTraveler HyperX

The still-new Kingston DataTraveler HyperX ($131 list), announced at CES in January, builds on memory-maker Kingston's HyperX brand for high-speed memory. It doesn't disappoint. It had the fastest read time among these USB flash drives. If only it didn't cost so much!

Kingston DataTraveler HyperX

Kingston attaches its ‘HyperX' brand name to its top performing products and after testing the 32Gbyte DataTraveler, we can safely say the name is well deserved.

While the Kingston doesn't offer much in the way of extras, it's aggressively priced and super quick.

Awesome form factor, great price, good capacity.

I love this drive. I put it on my keys and forgot it was there. I don't have to worry about it getting lost because of it's design, it won't come off my key chain. Great price for the value! Speeds good. Not sure about the software... I never use the manufacturer software on USB drives.

Covering the drive

I bought these as an easy way to transfer large files (mostly videos) between two people a continent apart. There is no rush, so USPS is fine. Yes, there's drop box, but some of these files are too large for the free version. I looked for this style of thumb drive because of the swivel 'cover'.
