Includes USB enclosure
I did not realise, but this item also includes a USB enclosure. You can put the SSD in the enclosure and use as a portable USB hard drive. You also get a USB cable to go with it. The build quality of this package is superb and with Windows 8.1 now running on this SSD the speed is excellent.

For those in the market for a solid-state drive, the Kingston SSDNow V300 series offers a 120GB Serial ATA 3.0 SSD for less than $90 USD. How well does this SSD work on Linux? We have benchmarks at Phoronix done under Ubuntu and compared to a range of HDD and SSDs.

half the speed of plextor m6s... & does get warm & eats double power compared to the m6s

SSD---FAST!!!
It is fast. The cloning software in Kingston package kit is simple, reliable and easy to use. BIG improvement. Also the noise level is drastically reduced. Definitely worth it.

Exactly as I was expecting
SSD was easy to set up & use and has greatly improved Dell laptop performance. User is very happy. I also bought the notepad bundle which includes the Acronis cloning software to make the job much easier.

Great SSD bad Upgrade Kit
The SSD is fast and (so far) reliable. The CD provided with the upgrade kit did not contain the software needed to clone the old hard drive I was replacing, consequently I had to do a clean install of Windows.

nice item, nice price
Easy install, very quick to get it going with software provided. No troubles for me even never having seen a SSD before I didn't need instructions.
