Kind of a let down
I was expecting the full read and write performance that it said on the box but I guess those were for the higher capacity drives because I know that the higher capacity the better the performance but I was still expecting somewhat closer to the advertise price.
Pros:
- Good GB to dollar price ratio -Boot up time with a Windows 8 64-bit OS is less than 2 seconds
Cons:
- -They advertise a sequential read and write of 450 mb/s but when doing crystal disk benchmark only got 160 mb/s for sequential read and 180 mb/s of sequential write
- Even if the drive was brand new and nothing much was installed except for the OS and only had 11% space being used.

Great value with lots of accessories
The drive, like other SSD's, is fast & quiet. The capacity is small in today's standards, but that's fine for my application. It came with everything that is needed to mount internally AND externally -- mounting brackets USB2.0 external enclosure and cable.
Pros:
- Fast and comes with extras to mount the drive both Internally & Externally
Cons:
- Would've been better if the external I/F was USB 3.0

My best upgrade in a while
A solid state drive is probably the best upgrade you can add to your system should you still have a HDD. As you might expect, Windows loads in a fraction of the time, but apps open more quickly, big applications that need to page the drive perform better, etc. Across the board excellent boost.

Be sure to research the reviews before purchasing
Kingston changed the internal components they are currently shipping in this product to lower quality ones without changing the product name. I have one of the early one that is really fast but this newer version I bought is MUCH slower.

Kingston SSD Drive is a excellent drive, I installed the drive trouble free, I also installed windows trouble free & the drive is very quick. Very pleased with the drive & the service provided by Dabs is first class.
