Kingston's 4 GB CompactFlash Card: Fast and Big

You can't imagine the excitement I felt when my wife handed me the package that the courier dropped off and I saw it was from Kingston. I quickly ripped it open and feasted my eyes on the most beautiful sight: a CompactFlash card with the letters 4 GB stamped on it.

"Micro SD- Well made and durable!"

I have both a 1gb and 2gb Kingston Micro SD card . Kingston is one of the top brands when it comes to SD cards, and I am quite happy with it. It is durable and my card has not broken or malfunctioned after a year of use (and counting), whereas some of the lower brands have been known to stop...
Pros:
  • Good transfer speed
  • durable and long lasting
  • comes with lifetime warranty
  • reasonable price
Cons:

Works Fine

I always chuckle at the so-called, self-proclaimed professionals who get on sites like this and try to show off by throwing photo jargon around. They then proceed to complain how the item doesn't meet their standards, not fast enough for their needs, etc.
Pros:
  • Works Great
  • Lots of Memory for the Casual User.
Cons:
  • None

works with non DOS formating

These are used on an embedded system running a custom application. They get formatted to a non DOS environment so they are readable by Windows and Linux. Some of the non name brand CF refuse to boot but these Kingston CF are just fine.

As advertised; problem-free!

Performing (so far) exactly as advertised. I've yet to tax the capacity of this card and fill it completely, but it's working well. There was a momentary glitch (I think) when I first inserted this card into my Canon camera.
