I had originally ordered 3 of the Jdata DDR3 1333 ram (which actually cost much more)her on Overstoack. Installed them and I had one module bad right off the bat. Returned it and when I installed the replacement, one of the other modules failed.

Kingston 4GB 1333MHz DDR3 Non-ECC CL9 SODIMM SR X8 - 4 GB (1 x 4 GB) - DDR3 SDRAM - 1333 MHz DDR3-1333/PC3-10600 - 1.50 V - Non-ECC - Unbuffered - 204-pin - SoDIMM

A bit tough to find this stuff, but works and decent price for it too.

Great product for the price

Went from 4GB to 8GB on Win 7 Pro. Increased speed on 30 min job by a third.

Works OK

I bought two of these for a Dell XPS 8500 with Win 10 Pro that only had 8GB of memory. No more low memory warnings! The additional memory seems to work OK. CPU-Z says the Kingston modules are single rank while the Dell OEM memory sticks were dual rank.

Kingston KVR1333D3N9K2/8G review

Kingston's ValueRAM range rules the roost when it comes to no-frills budget memory, and the KVR1333D3N9K2/8G kit is a perfect example. For less than £80, you get a pair of 4GB modules of DDR3 RAM, rated at 1,333MHz.

shorter, but work the same

They are shorter than normal DIMMs; about the same height as the clips that hold them in. This is useful in some small cases or if your big CPU cooler is getting in the way.

They work at the rated speed; and the system is stable during stress tests

Does the trick for adding zip to old laptops

If you are in the market for DDR3 memory you probably are not talking about upgrading a new laptop, but putting a bit of zip into a full depreciated one. All i can say is that this 4G kit put a noticeable bit of life into an 9 year-old Toshiba Portege, bringing the 6Gig up to 10G . . .
