Watching streams of this game is never boring so I decided to try it out myself. Basically really fun and satisfying to pull off some of the longer combos but the learning curve is quite high.

a great 2d fighter- nice feel of the attacts but getting to grips with the finer arts might seem frustrating- just get to now the basic supers and i'm happy. would have been nice to refine the character dialogue to be more appealing to watch rather than skip. great character color customisation.
The king of fighters was always a well known and beloved fighting series, starting in 1994. As an snk fan since long forgotten times, these series always had a special place in my fighting spirit. And saying that kof XIII is a bad game is to fail to understand these beloved series.

For a lot of us, SNK's fighting games were usually followed up with a slice of pizza and a romp in the ball pit, mostly because our cheap-o parents weren't interested in spending thousands on a Neo Geo and games. Jerks.
Difficult but rewarding gameplay; Silky smooth animation; Interesting character options
Little variation between game modes; Mindless; rambling dialogue; Extremely unfriendly to beginners
After all these years, these guys and gals still find something to fight about
More than adequate selection of characters, match types, and options to keep gamers' attention; online-play is generally consistent; ample amount of downloadable, unlockable content and achievements to acquire; unique character design coupled with excellent hand-drawn animation; pre-fight and...
Stiff controls make pulling off the excessive amount of special moves and combos not worth the effort; despite the content, single player experience feels the same throughout due to AI that spams special moves; not one but two cheap boss fights, offers nothing new, nor anything that other fighting...
Whether you're online or off, the game's presentation is simply gorgeous. The 2D character sprites fill up the screen with astonishing detail, such as the way their clothing flutters.
Fluid and flexible fighting mechanics; Impressive visuals and smooth animations; Stable online play with replay support; Numerous offline offerings; Character color customization
Online spectating isn't an option; Lacks replay sharing
This Europe ver. is amazing with the poster/movelist. KOF XIII is the KOF who the fans were waiting for. Beautiful sprites, beautiful stages, awesome new soundtrack and incredible variety of combos.
When we last left The King of Fighters, things weren't looking good. The King of Fighters XII , which was released in 2009, looked beautiful and had a solid fighting system, but its dearth of single-player content and busted online functionally killed it for many players.
