Not too shabby
It's probably the best reader for people that only want a device for reading. I have both an iPad 3 and iPad mini and prefer the iPad mini over the Kindle Paperwhite and the iPad 3. If I am going to buy a device I want to be able to do multiple things on it.- Light weight and easy on the eyes
- Easy to hold and navigate with one hand
- Texture of the screen is annoying
- Flicker between page turns
- Annoying looking icons

Amazon Kindle Paperwhite (2012) review
The biggest issue with the Amazon Kindle and its E-Ink technology is that while it's fantastic for reading on the beach, in broad daylight, or lasting for what seems an eternity on a single charge, try to read it in bed and you'll struggle without some light. Not any more.- Light so you can read in the dark
- Wi-Fi and 3G for downloading books
- easy to use
- touchscreen - so no buttons
- big choice of books
- great battery life
- Locked-in to Kindle books

Amazon Kindle Paperwhite review (2013)
Amazon won the ebook reader war. Like the iPod, the Swiffer, or Jell-O, the Kindle is just what you buy when you want what it does. Barnes & Noble and Sony went down swinging trying to compete, and Kobo and Iriver are but gnats to be swatted by the great Amazon behemoth.- Improved display
- faster page-turning
- Amazon's bookstore is enormous
- Reference materials and options are really useful
- Recommendations and ads are hard to distinguish
- Still no charger in the box
