UbiSoft's Just Dance 2014 lets players use the PlayStation 4 camera or PS Move controllers for another memorable interactive experience in this popular game series. Have fun and stay fit with great music from various genres and time periods.
fun; exercise benefits; entertaining dance routines; easy of use; large song collection; colorful visuals, additional songs through downloadable content; nice hands free camera option and sharing/social media options
more new features; players mistrack occasionally when using the camera
i bought this game not sure if it needed the move or not, and my local gamestop associate didn't know either. thankfully it does not need the wands. which is a great feature on the 4. if it did need them i probably wouldnt have gotten the game.
The PS 4 version is TERRIBLE!! The movement detection is complete trash. I can just sit on the couch and not make any movements and still score perfect on half the moves. It seems to just randomly assign you scores no matter what you are doing.
Rhythm game franchises have a bit of a reputation for releasing in annual installments and having not much more going on than a new son...
Accessible but challenging choreography; Online mode features; Unlocking new moves with your hard-earned Mojo points
Some odd song choices; Playing duets by yourself; Questionable choreography
This was purchased as a bit of entertainment in the home, however I feel it has been poorly put together (as you can clearly see from US reviews of this game). The game tells you when there isn't adequate lighting, so I knew this should work fine (it has on other things like playroom).
Just Dance 2014 isn't a must have next-gen (current gen?) experience. In fact, it's available on five consoles, so this is simply Ubisoft's way of bringing it to an even bigger audience, rather than a utilization of the PS4′s power and capabilities.
A track list that will get you moving; PlayStation 4 Camera tracking is decent; Tons of unlockables and alternate choreographies; The World Dance Floor and Sweat modes; Just Dance TV highlights
Yes; you actually have to get up and put down the controller; Might be slightly embarrassing (get over it); Move controller on its own is imprecise and distracting; A fair amount of space needed for good tracking.
