Dan wing-suits through South America leaving a trail of destruction...again
Core gameplay is solid; Experimenting can lead to hilarious and deadly results; Great fun if you haven't played the previous games
Missions lack variety; Map management of soldiers is a chore and feels like needless padding; Egregious pop-in throughout; Story is throw-away; Characters are forgettable
Video games have almost always looked at Hollywood for inspiration. Gaming has been been fixated on emulating the silver screen's cinematography and storytelling techniques as the medium strives to be taken more seriously.
There's explosive fun to be had in Just Cause 4, but it's mostly a rehash of old ideas.
Exciting explosions; Cool gadgets; Rico is a likeable character; Lots of room for experimentation
Retread of Just Cause 3; The world feels hollow; Rico is basically indestructible
The series still exemplifies third-person sandbox play in that it makes me feel like a child who takes just as much pleasure in trashing his Lego sets as he does in building them. The Game has like 2 swear words which your young kids wont even know what they are characters don't bleed. However there is a large explosive world for your kid to experiment in. Buy It Just Cause
Just Cause 4 is a mixed bag. If you enjoyed the last games, you'll enjoy more of the same here. On the downside it's graphically lacking in places, a little short in terms of storyline, can get quite repetitive, and we're not convinced there's not enough newness to make this game quite great.
Hilarious physics-based shenanigans; Plenty of daft fun to be had; Masses of weapons and vehicles to play with; Easy checkpoint/save system
Graphics look a little dated and underwhelming; Missions are highly repetitive; Fairly short if you stick to the main story; You need to work for the fun
likeably scrappy open-world carnage
