My niece used this on her trip to Germany and got some great results taking portrait pictures of herself and her girlfriend. The magnetic feet give it significant options to use on things like mail boxes and things to big to wrap the legs around.

I use this for my average size compact camera and it works very well for holding the camera in place for taking self portraits etc and and where carrying a full tripod is not possible. I have not used the magnetic feet function yet but the magnets seem quite strong.

Just received the Mpod - Then I made a mistake - I showed my granddaughter what a great design it was and how useful it was with an iPhone. It disappeared into her backpack and she refuses to return it. So I'm ordering another for me.

Magnets were not as strong as expected. Very handy with mobile phone photo and videography. The legs could have been a bit longer , makes them better to wrap around things.

This is an excellent, lightweight, versatile tripod. It wraps around stationary objects, clings to ferrous objects and provides a stable platform for lightweight compact cameras. I recommend it. Some have said that the individual led nodes pop out on occasion; this is no problem..
