water resistance
The Jaybird X3, the third iteration of the company's popular sweat-resistant wireless sports headphone, is probably the best headphone the company has produced.
The Jaybird X3 is a significant improvement over the X2 and one of the top Bluetooth sports headphone currently available.
The Jaybird X3 wireless sports headphone is smaller than the X2, has improved battery life, costs less and sounds excellent for an in-ear Bluetooth headphone; It's sweat resistant and comes with a compact protective carrying pouch.
Don't lose the charging accessory or you'll have no way to charge the headphone; not as comfortable as the Bose SoundSport Wireless; noise-isolating design may be a safety issue for runners.
More polished in almost every way.
Good fit; Reasonably Priced; Useful app
No waterproof rating; Sound isn't the best
Audio company Jaybird is as focused as they come, so you immediately know what you're getting when it announces a new pair of headphones. Like all of its other headphones, such as the Jaybird X2 these are replacing, the X3 are headphones geared towards sports and adrenaline-fuelled activities.
Extremely versatile and secure fit; Good sound quality; Useful companion app for adjusting EQ; Great build quality; Solid battery life
Initially fiddly to get the right fit; Proprietary charging clip
Having spent a couple of years wowing consumers in the US with its wallet-friendly earphones , Jaybird has finally brought its popular X3 Bluetooth earphones to the UK market. With two previous generations earning praise for their audio quality, stay-in-ability (if that's a word), convenience and...
Intuitive app with customisable EQ; loud and immersive sound; charging cradle is less fiddly than Micro-USB; stay in your ears
Could sound cleaner (but at this price that's a minor complaint
With so many Bluetooth earphones around, how does one differentiate itself from the others? Why, with an app of course! I didn't realise it at first, and had started writing up these rather pleasing earphones on the basis of their sound alone.
Very good sound; app can permanently tailor sound; solid connectivity; charge cradle!; AAC codec
Some noise transmission from contact with cable
The Jaybird X3 are an excellent pair of wireless in-ears for everyday use and workouts alike, with some forgivable shortcomings given their impressive affordability.
Excellent adaptable sound; Great value; Durable and compact design
Proprietary charging dock; Intermittent signal
The Jaybird X3s are my (Jeff's) personal favorite workout headphones (although to be fair I use them for work and other things beyond working out). The X3s are sweat and water resistant headphones that secure well in your ear.
Smaller than X2s; Secure fit; Water and sweat resistant; Stable Bluetooth connection; Strong battery life
Not easy to check battery; Need a proprietary cable to charge; Remote is fairly large
Definitely not designed with aesthetics in mind. they're chunky, and sit considerably out from your ears. The rubber bit that goes between your ear and the earpiece constantly comes off and gets stuck in my ear.
I'm deeply dissappointed with the sound quality. I'm was shocked to see a normal iphones earphones performed better than this. And the sound when connected to a laptop is the worst ever. Please donot buy this trusting the brand, you'll be surely dissappointed.
