Jabra Freeway Bluetooth Speakerphone Review

Negative press associated with the practice operating a cell phone while driving-which is not only dangerous, but also illegal in many jurisdictions-has spurred a sales boom in the Bluetooth headset market.

Long battery life; great sound quality; and a wide range of feature

Expensive; and its form factor limits its utility to in-car use

Jabra FREEWAY wireless Bluetooth in-car speakerphone review

The Jabra FREEWAY is a hands-free car speakerphone that connects to your phone via Bluetooth and has a built-in FM transmitter that allows you to stream calls and any phone audio over your car stereo or via the built-in speakers.

Jabra Freeway In-Car Bluetooth Speakerphone Review

Jabra, the leader of the Hands-Free market, has recently launched a 3-speaker, virtual surround, all-in-one speakerphone.

Sleek Design; Physical On/Off button; Speaker Gets Loud; Speaker Sounds Great at Moderate Levels; Easy-To-Use; Voice Commands; Latest Bluetooth Profiles; Micro-USB charger; Speaker gets worse at highest volume (more apparent with Music); Announced Callers were "Unknown"

Review: Jabra Freeway Bluetooth Speaker

Jabra has long been considered one of the industry leaders when it comes to providing mobile communications accessories. Their Bluetooth headsets exist in such a wide range, it has often been said that there was something for everyone in Jabra's lineup.

One small issue!

I really like this device. I bought an older car with no fancy Bluetooth connections to the audio equipment so this works just fine but having a Scottish accent doesn't go too well with the device.

I went out to the store tonight and grabbed this one as it was on sale. I only used it for about 10 min in the parking lot and brought it right back into the store. The ability to listen to my music through the FM transmitter is important to me and this is the worst one I've come across!

at first, I was very pleased. the sound is good, better than I expected. ...till I got on the hwy. I had to turn up the volume a bit so I could hear over the noise of the typical hwy noises. That's to be expected though. I do the same with the radio.

Very poor FM sync

I thought I was buying a better product, I have always used Motorola T505 hands free device for the last over 15 years. Finally I bought Jabra 100 device. The device work well with out syncing with the FM radio, what is the use for having this device spending $80 on Amazon less then a year back.

Fantastic Speakerphone

I use the speaker phone to listen to music, audio books and streaming radio. It is an absolutely fantastic device. I highly recommend this model.

I drive for a living, and I hate in ear bluetooth, so this speaker phone has been terrific; The speaker is quite loud for as small as it is, though I much prefer to use the FM tuner so that I can listen through the car stereo.

FM transmitter could be better; Most stations are fuzzy and it is sometimes hard to find any station that is audible; The voice command feature can be annoying if you don't speak absolutely clear and quite loud; A bit pricey

Jabra Freeway Review

These days, hours of traffic snarls make using of cellphones behind the wheel mandatory, even if it's frowned upon by the legal system in our country. Cradling a phone between your neck and shoulder isn't the most comfortable experience, and neither is it very safe.

Easy to setup; Crisp and loud audio; Simple bluetooth pairing process; Good build quality and great looks; Impressive battery backup; Voice feedback for battery level; incoming/outgoing calls and info

Clicking sound from the operating buttons; A bit of jarring at 100% sound level; Voice commands are rarely recognised at once
