Jabra Elite 7 Active Review

Small form factor ; Great sound once set up in Jabra app ; Good active noise cancellation;

Some more reliably secure sports buds out there ; Need to tinker with sound profile for best results; ANC still struggles with wind;

Jabra Elite 7 Active Review

Jabra’s Elite 7 Active earphones ($179.99) sound like the slightly pricier Elite 7 Pro ($199.99) and offer similar active noise cancellation (ANC) performance, but cater more toward the exercise crowd. Both pairs are fully waterproof, but only the Active model sports a special, non-slip coating to ensure a more consistent fit. You get slightly better mic performance for phone calls with the Elite 7 Pro, while if you're looking for the best noise cancellation, Sony's $279.99 WF-1000XM4 earphones are our top pick. But if want the most durable, exercise-friendly pair that does everything pretty well, it's worth checking out the Elite 7 Active.Small and Secure Available in black, blue, or mint green, the Elite 7 Active earpieces are tiny and sport a liquid silicone rubber compound that helps them stay in place during exercise without any earfins or over-ear hooks. They ship with three pairs of silicone eartips. Push-button controls on the outer panels—concealed by the seamless coatin...

The true wireless Jabra Elite 7 Active earphones combine quality active noise cancellation and powerful audio performance in a waterproof design that's built for exercise.

Powerful audio performance with deep bass and bright highs; Solid noise cancellation; Stable fit; Good mic clarity

Sculpted sound signature not for those seeking accuracy

Jabra Elite 7 Active review

The Elite 7 Active offers the same great value experience as the Elite 7 Pro, with its slightly lower price and extra in-ear security offset by its lack of bone conduction sensors that enhance the Pro's call quality. The audio and ANC are both serviceable, if not the best in the game, but premium features like IP57 waterproofing, excellent battery life and wireless charging make their price seem rather reasonable on the whole.

Excellent value; Secure, compact and comfortable; IP57 rating;

Scooped audio profile; ANC is passable but not the best

Really happy!

I did quite a bit of research on these ear-buds before I purchased and they live up to expectations. Great sound, great fit, great ANC.

Great sound with some connection issues

I purchased these headphones to replace my old gym/running headphones. They appear well made, though the portable charging case does feel a little bit flimsy. They fit comfortably into my ears with the standard (middle) size ear pieces. I have been out for a few runs in them and have had no issue with them coming loose. There have been a few instances where either one or both headphones have not connected to my phone. Nothing appears to fix this immediately, other than resetting the headphones (putting them into the charging container and holding the power button for 5 seconds) to then have to reconnect them to my phone. This has happene...view more

Jabra Elite 7 Active review: no sweat review

Comfy fit that stays put while exercising; Worthwhile companion app;

Out-the-box sound profile a little unrefined; ANC not the most effective;
