I replaced a 20-year-old 15-inch JBL sub with the PRX418S, and the difference is amazing. This is in a home theater/audio system, and I power the sub with 500 watts from a McIntosh amplifier. It's great!
This subwoofer is VERY efficient; and solid enough to avoid vibration noises. Cabinet is attractive enough for a home theater application
