When it was released back in 2012, the JBL Flip took people by surprise. It wasn't the first compact Bluetooth speaker, but it was one of the first that actually sounded good enough to not be regarded as a simple novelty. Sure, its interesting shape might have given it some help too.

I was pleasantly surprised. I just wanted something portable with OK sound and OK battery life. So far battery life is as good as advertised...even in the cold weather. The sound is pretty good for something so small. Primarily use with Galaxy S4 and not a hitch with pairing.

As a college student I listen to a lot of music. Whether I am doing homework, working out, cleaning my room, or even doing nothing at all, music is always in the background. I got this JBL Flip 2 speaker because I wanted a durable and quality speaker.

This is the greatest little speaker ever!! it has good sound quality, easy to use and the Bluetooth hooks up nicely with my LG Tab and phone. It feels sturdy. I love that i can take it any where with me even in the car, it hooks up nice to my car charger.

Bought these for my 2 sons (ages 15 and 19) who are both audiophiles and they love it! Easy to use and a big sound for a great price.
