I owned the regular charge2 but gave it to my brother-in law so I could buy this one. I love the sound quality and the charge lasts forever. I have not taken it to the beach yet but the other one was there plenty and held up just fine. You won't be disappointed with this product.

I have 3 flips from the original to the splash. The sound quality is ever bit as good as Bose. The sound that comes out of this little device is jaw dropping.
