State of the art in 2013

Seems like bang for the buck is there as long as you put it together yourself. if Id gotten a more normal computer it would have been 1.5-1.75ish times faster than my old machine. so considering this cpu has 12 cores, thats 3 of those machines.

These are the bee-knees; I still peg the cpu(s) with stuff I process, but compared to my 2 generation old (i7 965) cpu with only 4 cores.; these twin beauties run something like 8-9 times faster; (with just one I guess it would be 4.5 times faster

Had real problems getting these to run due to a required firmware update in the bios for v2 chips; Problem was, I needed an old chip that fit the socket type to get my new machine to boot; I didn't have one; So I took it to a dealer who did.
