Upgraded to this CPU and the computer is running smooth as anything. Happy with my purchase.

Originally, I intended to build a mid-range PC for my teenaged son using the i5 11500k cpu -t became out of stock - but was able to get the i7 11700k for a marginal increase in price, but less than the current retail price. A few upgrades in memory, gpu and cooling to match the performance of the cpu and its a ripper that should get a few extra years of happiness; My son is very happy with the final product - a heap more performance in his gaming and video work. This is a great upgrade. My primary use is X-Plane, and the difference this made to the FPS was above my expectations. Easy to install and worth the price. I added the ICUE capellix cooler, and the heat stays low under high demand graphics. Best upgrade I ever did

For overclockable cpus don't go past this

plays everything no problem

I feel the difference in performance compared to my older cpu. Also the shipping was super fast

A really good upgrade for my PC, can handle any task that I throw at it. Runs hot, but with a good cooler that is no problem. Very happy with it.
