Reasonably fast for a k cpu without hyper threading

5.0
Verdict: Good cpu temps low with a Noctua in low profile cooler with next to no noise @ all. Both items do as they say on the tin so nor egrets cooler from elsewhere cpu from scan & usual quick on line service hassle free from scan.

Intel Skylake Core i5 6600 3.3Ghz 6MB LGA 1151 4 Core/ 4 Thread

5.0
Verdict: Great processor! Ideal for high end but budget gaming. But! Regret enormously not getting the K version. Get the K version! Worth the extra few bucks if you're already getting a decent cooler. If you're planning on sticking with stock, just get this one.

Great CPU

3.0
Verdict: I bought this as an upgrade from my old AMD FX-4350. I see an increase in framerate in most games (there was one exception - Far Cry Primal) with this CPU. I used to get 60FPS in Minecraft, I now get upwards of 600FPS. It can handle pretty much everything you throw at it.

Identical processing cores as i7-6700

5.0
Verdict: This processor has identical processor cores as the i7-6700 at about $120 less. If you do not use the hyper-threading, save the $120 and spend it on other components.

More than Adequate

5.0
Verdict: Purchased to replace 2 dual core Opterons running Access/Excel applications. Put it in a Shuttle NUC. I do a lot of number crunching and this set up is just wonderful. Ten year old Opteron technology that this replaced was slower, noisier and ran much hotter and likely sucked up a significantly more...
Pros: Quiet, powerful, cool and low power
Cons: Non

Disappointed with this

5.0
Verdict: First off, the included stock cooler is a piece of junk and should be an embarrassment for Intel to even included this thing with their processor. Very small, no copper core, small noisy fan. Same junk they've been using for years.
Pros: It works
Cons: The Included stock cooler is garbage. PCB is too thin and bends under pressure

Awesome

5.0
Verdict: This I5-6600 was authentic and perfect for me. I don't game just yet since I am waiting until tax time to get my graphics card. I highly doubt it's base clock is 3.3ghz per core. Intel must be lying about some crap there.
