I think it's pretty safe to say that Arc System Works, Capcom and NetherRealm are the ‘three kings' of fighting games. These three companies develop the majority of popular fighting games but let's face it, Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter are definitely the biggest names in the genre.

Epic loot; Stunning graphics; Fantastic netcode; Accessible fighting

Menus aren't all that informative; Missing DLC content is painfully obvious

Injustice 2 Review – PS4

Mortal Kombat Konnoisseurs NetherRealm are back with a second installment of Injustice; the fighter that pits the cream of DC Comics' superheroes and villains against each other. This time there's a real effort to offer a feature complete package from the off, but will that be enough for Batman and...

Injustice 2 (for PlayStation 4)

Overall, Injustice 2's advancements not only soar over its predecessor, but over the majority of other games in the fighting genre, too. Packing a ridiculous amount of content, including a single player experience that's crafted to perfection, Injustice 2 is the prototype for fighters to come.

Terrific story; Multiverse Mode is the greatest single-player experience in fighting game history; Gear system adds a fresh gameplay element

Confusing menus; Some characters are basically clones of Mortal Kombat fighters

PS4 Review: Injustice 2

Despite being terrible at fighting games, I absolutely loved the original Injustice. I managed to complete the campaign and even win the odd match online, but it was the story itself that stood out to me, especially being a fan of DC.

Of Gods, Monsters, And Precious Loot

Concept: A sequel that offers enhanced combat, a silly (but action-packed) story, and collectible loot galore Graphics: Few details are spared as the titans clash and the world is destroyed around them, even in the little things like lip-syncing.

Injustice 2 Review

Injustice 2's fights improve on Gods Among Us in nearly every way, specifically addressing fan concerns about movement speed and giving you new ways to burn meter. Visually, the DC roll call shines even as they star in a flat and unnecessarily grim story.

The first Injustice was a well-done fighting game, but it's completely outclassed by its sequel. NetherRealm Studios offers up a love letter to the DC Universe and fighting game fans.

There are heretics for whom superhero culture holds no appeal or understanding, but I wager that Injustice 2 will captivate even these skeptics. With responsive fighting mechanics, an engaging and fast-moving campaign, a generous roster of characters and top-drawer presentation, Injustice 2 will...

Injustice 2 review

Injustice 2 is the goods: a great fighting game with an absorbing narrative, plenty of content, and a legendary cast.

Looks great; Leverages the license with far more than mere respect; Loads of end-game depth

Story could be longer

Injustice 2

Breaking ties with Midway and signing with Warner seems to have been one of Netherrealm Studios' best decisions. Since then, the studio that created Mortal Kombat has definitely raised the bar with its games, delivering MK9, Injustice: Gods Among Us, MKX, and now Injustice 2.
