Kingston Cloud II Gaming Headset Review

This is a fantastic gaming headset and if you're involved in eSports, or just a keen gamer at home, you'll love what the Cloud II has to offer. You'll struggle to find anything better, or with a comparable feature set for the same kind of money and that makes this one of the best all-round headsets...

Excellent build quality; Very comfortable fit; Detachable microphone; Separate game/chat volume control; Multi-format support; Braided cables; Competitive price

Kingston HyperX Cloud II Gaming Heaset Review

I'm sure you're all familiar with Kingston and their HyperX line of gaming memory and SSD's. Did you know that HyperX also makes gaming peripherals? Their original headset - the HyperX Cloud - has been out for a while and has gained a lot of praise from the gaming community.

HyperX Cloud Stinger Headset Review

The HyperX range has long been a measure of quality, and it's probably a fair assumption to say that most of us have owned at least one HyperX product in our PC owning lifetime.

Kingston is a leader in the memory and storage market, but the company has recently expanded its product portfolio to more completely cover the gamer's needs.

Kingston has been renowned for their prowess in creating some of the most trusted memory products for computing over the years, but recently, they have expanded into different fields such as audio peripherals. Their latest product from that line is the Kingston HyperX Cloud II gaming headset.

Amazing Audio; Lightweight; Can be used with gaming consoles

No companion software for tuning; Virtual 7.1 doesn't provide much depth

Kingston HyperX Cloud II Pro

The realm of gaming headsets is populated by many dubious quality and overpriced offerings shielded by the 'gaming' facade. The need for prospective buyers to do some research before they buy is particularly important for a gaming headset.

Extremely comfortable; Balanced audio profile; USB soundcard; Range of colours; Virtual 7.1 surround mode

Overly-long cable; Mic jack cover easily lost

Cloud Stinger by Kingston really does deliver what it promises, lightweight design with few cool features that do not break the bank. When looking at just the sound performance/reproduction of Cloud Stinger it is spot on as well. It is hard to find a good pair of headsets on the budget.

Kingston HyperX Cloud Stinger Headset

Hey all, it's been a while since I was able to get another review done but the wait has paid off with what could be a great headset at a great price point. Today we'll be looking at the brand new HyperX Cloud Stinger gaming headset that features 50mm directional drivers, an ear cup volume slider, a...

Light weight; Simple and clean design; Compatibility with many devices; Signature memory foam padding; 50mm Directional drivers (like surround sound; 90° rotating ear cups; Price

Issue with volume slider as it nears 0% (could be an isolated issue

Kingston HyperX Cloud Stinger Gaming Headset

Overall, I'm quite impressed with the HyperX Cloud Stinger Gaming Headset. A mouth full just to say that – but after disliking the HyperX Cloud Revolver as much as I did – I'm actually quite happy with this drop in price and slight redesign.

Price point is awesome; great sound for an everyone price, Comfort and quality align with the rest of the HyperX Cloud Series, Quick mute option, Volume control on headset – little easier than fumbling with a cable, Did I mention the price point rocks

Can't remove the mic – not end of world (just a feature I REALLY like – picky Panda

HyperX Cloud Stinger Gaming Headset

Headsets, like most peripherals, are very subjective. Both looks and fit make reviews more opinion based than products we can accurately benchmark, at least without some very expensive audio equipment.

Comfortable memory foam ear cups; Directional drivers; Great gaming separation; Massive compatibility

Plastic construction; Microphone could be better; Distorts at high end of range
