Shocking

This was the second pair I bought- within 2 months- that experienced the following problem. Nearly every time I moved I'd receive a small electrical shock to either ear. Furthermore, when this shock occurred the USB port, to which the headphones were attached, would fail.

HyperX Cloud Revolver S review: A costly improvement to the original Cloud Revolver headset

Anyone who's followed HyperX for the past few years and saw last year's Cloud Revolver knew what was coming next: the HyperX Cloud Revolver S. It's a familiar pattern for the company nowadays-first the stereo version of a headset and then, about a year later, the USB-enabled version with surround...

HyperX Cloud Revolver S Gaming Headset Review

I have to say that I liked the HyperX Cloud Revolver S Headset a lot. It has some features I didn't care for, but the good far outweighed the bad. I think the $149.99 price tag is pushing the limit a bit high, but the HyperX Cloud Revolver S Headset could be very tempting to pick up when on sale or...

HyperX Cloud Revolver S is just a perfect gaming headset which is also great for all who are not playing games often but still wish to experience great sound while watching movies or listening to the favourite audio files.

HyperX CLOUD Revolver S Pro Gaming Headset Review

Since we couldn't attend this year's Computex (check our news section for coverage - many interesting products have been unveiled so far) we focused our efforts in testing as many things as we possibly can and it's no surprise really that many of those are gaming peripherals.

HyperX Cloud Revolver S Review

HyperX Cloud Revolver S is a great all rounder of a gaming headset. It has multi-platform support and best of all, can be used with any device that supports USB Audio or the good, old 3.5mm connection.

My search for the ultimate gaming headset/headphones had been one of the most grueling, extensive and expensive endeavors I've ever put myself through so far for my just over 40 plus years in this lifetime and to say it's an easy task is not the case by a long shot!

HyperX Cloud Revolver S review: HyperX Cloud Revolver S review: Gaming audio on cloud nine

HyperX approach gaming peripherals with a very simple design ethos. Its number one concern is the number one requirement from you, and it's a philosophy that's largely paid off for the relatively young company. The Cloud Revolver S, announced at CES 2017, is the biggest, baddest headset in the company's range.

Some design choices get in the way of function, but for comfort and sound quality the Cloud Revolver S is sunshine on a rainy day.

The Cloud Revolver S is unfairly, obscenely comfortable; It's like wearing two sound pillows on your face.

Missing the on-ear buttons of a lot of other headsets makes mid-game muting and volume tweaks a bit of a pain.
