Pros:

- 4GB memory
- decent 5-megapixels camera
Cons:
- No dedicated camera button
- microSD slot hidden under back casing

Muy buen equipo
Muy bueno. Lo compre ayer y estoy sorprendido con las prestaciones. Lo recomiendo por su relacion precio - valor. great no problems with the battery lasted a day and now with android 2.3 upgrade you get twice as long, reception was mostly good a few times it dropped out but that is to be expected.

Excellent phone at an unbeatable price!
Huawei seems to be focusing more on building a loyal following than making money as this phone is clearly being sold below its fair price. It completely out-looks and out-performs all other phones in it price-range, and even many other high-end ones twice as expensive.
Pros:
- Comes with a 5 mega pixel camera which also doubles as a camcoder recording at 720p
- Excellent photo and video quality
- Multiple effects and great GUI
- Very good energy-saving features help extned battery life
- Sleek fashinable look
- Excellent data connec
Cons:
- Only con I can think of is lack of a manual camera shutter button to take photos

Huawei Ideos X5 smart phone
I'm not a very big fan of Huawei . In fact, I haven't really encountered much products from their company (just a modem that we have at home). Anyhow, I let this not be the deciding factor as Huawei has finally decided the pool of companies manufacturing android phones!

Huawei Ideos X5
Huawei has done a fine job of delivering a phone with a good user experience and most of the components that we expect to see in phones twice- or three-times its price. The handset design isn't attractive but it's functional, and the 8GB microSD included with the X5 is the icing on the cake.
Pros:
- Incredible low price
- Great performance
- Swype keyboard
- 8GB microSD included
Cons:
- No Wi-Fi hotspot, Average battery life, No media sharing, Slowest ..
- camera ...

Red Bull Mobile HD (Huawei U8800) review
Red Bull Mobile, running on the Cell C network, launched in February 2011 with some rather competitive post-paid contracts on offer. Through the RBM 200 package one can get the RBM HD Android smartphone, and this is the device considered in this review.

Huawei U8800 IDEOS X5
The team first heard about the IDEOS X5 earlier in the year, when it made its first appearance at CES. The X5 is Huawei's flagship smartphone and at a cost of US $381, it makes a compelling value argument for itself right off the bat.
Pros:
- Good looks
- built well
- decent overall performance
- good web experience
- great value for money
Cons:
- Limited battery
- screen overwhelmed by sunlight

Had no objections regarding reception. Display is LCD, so you won't like it if you switch from AMOLED. Battery sucs, as with every other current smartphone. Design is nothing astonishing. Will get the job done. I disliked its build quality.
