Huawei has been chipping away at the flagship smartphone block for years now, gradually adding appeal to its seemingly desired western audience with each iteration. But while last year's P8 lost its way with sloppy software and knuckle-based nonsense, this year's P9 - which mimics the same handset...

Before Huawei's P9 was even announced the rumour mill was hard at work, spotting what appeared to be two camera sensors sitting side by side and prompting speculation that the smartphone would have two cameras.

I have already outlined the ‘phone' part of this latest offering from Huawei on the 18th April. At the time I said I would tell you about the cameras when I had more time to study them. So here goes the camera are very good as they are made by Leica.

When comparing the P9 to other flagships, it's important to remember the ￡449 price which makes it considerably cheaper than many of its rivals (but not the identically priced Nexus 6P that's also made by Huawei). Overall, we're impressed with the phone: it's well built, feels good and looks good.

The announcement of the Huawei P9 was met with much fanfare surrounding the inclusion of Leica branding. The Huawei P9 features a dual camera set-up, which was claimed to have been designed in conjunction with the historic camera manufacturer.

The song remains the same for Huawei with the P9. This is a really great phone, and for the everyday user, it's also one of the speediest and most powerful. But, this is priced like something more than an everyday phone, and for that reason, the GPU and display really need to be better.

With the P9, Huawei has a flagship that matches the most powerful devices on the market that is an evident improvement compared to its predecessors, especially with its rear-facing camera.

Good smartphone. i purchased this phone for my wife and she is more than happy and satisfied because phone have a good camera and processing speed.

I got this phone the day it came out, and have not regretted it. First, it is an eye catcher! But there is more to it than looks. I decided to write a review because I felt Phone Arena's didn't give the phone a fair shake. The camera is amazing, but I want to list a few things PA left out.

There's a lot to like about the Huawei P9, particularly if you focus on its outstanding camera. The Leica-engineered two-camera setup delivers crisp, detailed shots along with several modes that should please more demanding photographers.
