A few weeks ago we took the Huawei P10 Plus with us to Taiwan along with the Samsung Galaxy S8+ . We had a grand old time in the Republic of China, and we used both ( along with the HTC U Ultra ) as our primary devices during our weeklong stay in Taipei.

The Huawei P10 Plus was announced alongside the standard sized P10, the latest flagship mobile phones from the company. It builds on the success of last year's P9, with its most interesting (for photographers) feature being its dual-camera setup, which has been co-engineered with Leica.

I have been a fan of Huawei and their build quality for a long time but the P series phones are a whole different beast to all other phones Huawei make/have made. They are slimmer and seem to feel small in the hand. The others just feel bulky when compared to them.

The arrival of the Huawei P10 Plus and its smaller sibling, the P10, mark the first time a Huawei flagship has made it to Canada, joining the ranks of the Nova Plus and assorted other mid-range and budget Huawei phones that have trickled into Canadian carriers over the past few years.
