I remember when I saw the first Horizon: Zero Dawn trailer during E3 2015 and immediately became fascinated once the harmonious music kicked in. It was breathtaking to see the mammoth-sized machines roaming a post-post-apocalyptic world that was once home to millions of people.

Horizon Zero Dawn review – an epic adventure A few blockbuster debuts throughout gaming history have had a surreal, uncanny power to them. You know it when you feel it: a certain magnetism pulling you in, that can't-stop-thinking-about-it quality.

The dystopian future setting is somewhat overdone as of late, getting up there with zombie apocalypses in over-saturating the market for movies, and it's starting to catch up to brown coloured first-person shooters on the gaming front, as well.

I honestly don't find this game one to avoid playing in front of small children. My rating is more of when I think a child may be capable of playing it, as it is rather challenging. Another person said you don't kill humans, and that's not true. You have to kill bandits sometimes.

I received this game not in a case, but in a cheap-ish (still official, albeit in Spanish) cardboard sleeve. I would have preferred a case, and others may be expecting the same when they purchase, -1 star for not making that clearly known However, the game was fine, CD in pristine condition, and is...
