Square Enix and IO Interactive have brought back Agent 47 in all his glory in Hitman Absolution, the fifth instalment in the Hitman series. Once again we are given many choices in eliminating set targets – whether we go in all guns blazing or silently and stealthily or even take them out and slip...

This game takes from the old hitman games and adds current gen graphics and smoother and slicker controls, which makes it both more visually appealing than previous installments (most are over a decade old and can look dated) and more user friendly and refined in relation to the controls.

Number 47 at his best. I love this game, I have played it on PC, PS3 and now on the 360, it is by far the best out of the series. The missions are challenging, graphics are up to date and game play interesting and fun.

This is a review for the ps3 edition. Playing this game reminds me of my time as a kid playing Hitman 2 silent assassin. This game is rock hard constant, stable and much straight forward than its predeccesor.

Stealth fans won't like this, but the streamlining of stealth mechanics in games like , , XBLA's and now Hitman: Absolution is the best thing that could have happened to the genre. Appealing to a wider audience is a good thing.

This was a game I had been looking forward to because the hype was so high and filled with such potential. Unfortunately, in the end it is a very mediocre product and OK for a play here and there, but just doesn't work overall…
