Absolution is beautiful and at times a bit dumb, but like any beautiful underachiever...
Brighter: slick executions done with style; The premise is simple and it's all about the joys of dress up.
The interface is still a pain at times; leading to incessant trial and error.
When playing to its strengths, Hitman: Absolution is a genuinely great game. Overall, though, it feels slightly disappointing, simply because it doesn’t spend enough time playing to those strengths. Too much time is spent trawling through levels which feel like filler.
Hitman: Absolution follows Agent 47, a cold-blooded assassin, who takes on his most dangerous contract to date. Betrayed by those he once trusted - and now hunted by the police - he suddenly finds himself at the center of a dark conspiracy and must embark on a personal journey through a corrupt and...
The long-awaited fifth entry to the Hitman franchise succeeds in some respects. It looks beautiful, the stealth is well-developed and Contracts mode...
Beautiful graphics; Instinct Mode is well implemented; Contracts has a lot of potential
Small levels; Linear sections; Weak story and characterisation
The box quite clearly says Hitman, and you can definitely see the familiar shape of 47's bald, tattooed dome, I do not feel particularly comfortable referring to this as a Hitman game.
Has a few decent levels; Contracts; Great visuals
Too mainstream - it has been diluted; No more disguises - you can play it as a stealth game or a shooter; Weak storyline
This game is glitched this is ment to have be fixed but still it carrys on that all the game saves are corrupted when you turn xbox off after starting over twice I give up with it am glad I only rented it and not bought it, other than that nice game to play all round..
I know that's probably a sin within the hardcore hitman community, but I absolutely love this game. It so much fun. I wouldn't say it's on par with my favorite hitman game, blood money, but it changes the formula up enough to make this game unique and amusing.
There were few people I knew who were more excited for Hitman: Absolution than myself. As the only title in the stealth genre that I've supported, it's been a fun ride. With memories that stretch all the way back from the first title, it's been a series that's always sat warmly in my heart.
enjoyed all of the hitman games and have played them multiple times (aside from hitman absolution) . In the others your disguise was your most powerful weapon (aside from your silver ballers if someone pissed you off) and they kind of made hit man a puzzle game in a sense.
