This game is a ...Hit (cue The Who)

This game takes from the old hitman games and adds current gen graphics and smoother and slicker controls, which makes it both more visually appealing than previous installments (most are over a decade old and can look dated) and more user friendly and refined in relation to the controls.

THE ONLY GAME THAT SURPASSES SILENT ASSASSIN....

This is a review for the ps3 edition. Playing this game reminds me of my time as a kid playing Hitman 2 silent assassin. This game is rock hard constant, stable and much straight forward than its predeccesor.

Challenges rather than just a straight shoot-em-up

Superb game! My first look into the Hitman series and am liking it. Once I finish this one will no doubt be looking for more. I like the fact it's not just a straight shoot-em-up game. There is a lot of strategy and thinking that goes with it and love the use of disguises.

Hitman Absolution review: Vintage 47, successfully remixed

Feels like 'proper' Hitman, mixed with new ideas of varying quality. Crucially, it's great fun, and you'll want to play Absolution through more than once

Brilliant ideas; densely packed; Brutal kills married to IO's trademark humour; One of this generation's finest stealth games; The premise of Contracts mode..

..; is slightly better than the execution, Smaller, more linear sandboxes, Save system

Hitman: Absolution

Hey, we're hip. Sexy nuns with guns have their place somewhere on this planet, they really do. Or so we are forced to imagine. But, having been delighted, immersed and mostly convinced by IO Interactive's latest and greatest incarnation of its murky and quirky assassination series, one thing is for...

Stealth fans won't like this, but the streamlining of stealth mechanics in games like , , XBLA's and now Hitman: Absolution is the best thing that could have happened to the genre. Appealing to a wider audience is a good thing.

Hitman Absolution

Hitman's past has been as cold and calculated as its murderous anti-hero, each game cloned from the last to create a technically better...

Varied missions with seemingly limitless options; Sleek; sexy style; Bountiful improvements to the basic gameplay

A sometimes muddled story; That there aren't enough traditional levels; Seriously; whats up with the bloom lighting

Hitman: Absolution Review

Agent 47 is back! I, for one, couldn't be more excited to be back in his bald head…I mean shoes! The Hitman series has always been the pinnacle of the stealth/action genre, rewarding patience and skill rather than a propensity to rush in, guns blazing.

Hitman: Absolution (X360) - Review

Has there ever been a year with more assassination games in it I'm not sure there has. Certainly never so many high-profile games. Hitman has been around for a long time, but with Dishonored and Assassin's Creed III both recently released, the stealth action genre has more competition than ever.
