Value for money (on special discount)

Harmony still has some drawbacks with software; eg. only one set of Favorites channels; which may not be relevant to the device or situation

Does what it says!

Brought as a christmas present. Recipient struggled a bit to set it up but now is ok. Quite expensive but good for the person who has everything!

Best remote I've ever owned

We bought this remote to replace the TV, receiver, DVR, and Roku remotes in our living room. The Harmony Elite works as-advertised. After plugging in the Hub and setting up the IR blasters, the setup app auto-detected most of our devices on our home network.

Logitech Harmony Elite universal remote review

Universal remote controls are a bizarre product category, because they solve a legitimate and substantial problem - the proliferation of really terrible remotes on your coffee table, one for each device in your living room - yet, for some reason, they're pretty rare.

Ergonomically close to perfect; Supports a nearly infinite array of devices out of the box

Screen is only so-so; Requires more setup than a basic universal remote; Expensive

Logitech Harmony Elite review

Logitech's been in the universal remote game for a long while now, and while many of its efforts have been solid, they've never been complete game changers. Enter the Logitech Harmony Elite remote, the latest flagship device in the Harmony line-up that sports Wi-Fi powers, a touchscreen and a slick...

Logitech Harmony Elite Universal Remote Control

Logitech's Harmony Elite Remote Control ($350) is the latest top-of-the-line edition in the company's line of universal remote controls. Preceded in that way by the Harmony Ultimate - which launched at the same price - the Harmony Elite boasts a new remote and cradle, and the remote can finally be...

On the surface, there's nothing particularly glamorous about a universal remote. It's simply a device that controls multiple electronic gadgets, like your TV and Blu-ray player, so you don't have to keep track of and juggle multiple remotes. No big deal, right?

Logitech Harmony Elite review

If you're hastily upgrading your home theater setup in preparation for the Super Bowl , or just looking for a key addition to tie your myriad A/V devices together, then it might be time to consider Logitech's Harmony Elite universal remote.

Activities automate your routines; Compatible with loads of devices; Polished design and feel

It's very expensive; Can't launch into most video apps; Occasional missed commands

Logitech Harmony Elite Plus Remote 915-000258 review

The Logitech Harmony Elite adds a useful touchscreen to the best universal remote system around, but it's not worth the high price for most buyers.

The Logitech Harmony Elite is a unique universal-remote system that can control your entire home theater using your iPhone or Android phone or tablet; or the included remote; via the Harmony Hub.

Significantly cheaper versions like the Harmony Home Control can do almost as much; The battery only lasts a couple of days per charge, so you'll have to remember to keep it in the charging cradle between uses.

No PC emulation

I bought this remote to replace a Harmony One. The harmony one felt better with rounded edge buttons and was easier to navigate without looking because of the raised bumps similar to the "f" and "j" keys on a keyboard. The programming transferred bettween the remotes, which saved time.
