Since Halo 5: Guardians is essentially a game of three parts, I'm going to split this review into sections covering each of its components: Campaign, Arena, and Warzone. First up comes the Campaign… …and that's where I'm the most ambivalent about the game.

While I did enjoy the campaign, it didn't completely grip me like it did with halo 4 or Reach. The multiplayer however is especially entertaining and will keep you occupied for ages.

Fantastic Halo Game. The story is a continuation into the Halo lore. If you read the books and follow the halo story line there is lots of little things that you will pick up. If you only follow the games you can make it through but some things will feel disjoined and disconnected.

All the hype and exclusivity make Halo 5 an essential game for Xbox One. If you own an Xbox One, Halo 5 and Tomb Raider are likely reasons we buy Xbox. While I love Halo, I cannot help but feel some things beyond the graphics are overdue for upgrades.

This game is so right in all the right places except they have made the biggest halo mistake ever... They took away split screen which just boggles the mind on how ridiculous that is and upsetting for me and my brother. I do think this is a great game and i do enjoy it.

Game is good. But few things to keep in mind. 1 - I bought this during the Festival sale of 2016 with a huge discount. But the game copy that was sent had the package in Polish language. The steelbook, Dossiers, Live Gold Card, Fall of Reach activation Coupon - all were in Polish.

Halo 5: Guardian is a game about momentum. It's fueled by new ideas and propelled by some of the boldest changes to this storied franchise yet. Some of these changes fail, but others succeed, and although Halo 5 falters at times, it whisks us through black holes and across war torn tropical islands...

For Xbox One owners, Halo 5: Guardians is one of the most highly anticipated exclusive titles for 2015, and both Microsoft and 343 Industries are well aware of the community's expectations.

Improved gameplay; better button controls; great new game mechanics added in; beautiful visuals; fantastic score; gripping multiplayer; and an unpredictable and well-written story

Story was definitely overhyped and over-exaggerated; leading to a bit of an unnecessary let-down; repeated boss fights; and seemingly useless missions marred a stellar experience

Before I get started on my review for Halo 5: Guardians, I want to provide an explanation of why it took so long to be posted. With all of the games that came out this holiday, some of which I am still trying to complete, it kept pushing back my time with playing Halo 5.

Competitive multiplayer, clearly, is where Halo 5's at. And it's here, five years after Bungie waved goodbye to its billion dollar baby, that 343 finally stamps its authority on the Halo series. Warzone takes the formula Bungie concocted and drags it, kicking and screaming, into a new era.
