Competitive multiplayer, clearly, is where Halo 5's at. And it's here, five years after Bungie waved goodbye to its billion dollar baby, that 343 finally stamps its authority on the Halo series. Warzone takes the formula Bungie concocted and drags it, kicking and screaming, into a new era.

Xbox and Halo, Halo and Xbox, the two are synonymous with each other. When the original Xbox debuted in 2001, so did the original Halo, and since then we've seen quite a few Halo games (11 and counting), and the Xbox console is now in its third generation with the Xbox One.

Halo 5: Guardians takes on us a journey into the next chapter of the "Reclaimer Trilogy", which sets up Master Chief and his fellow Spartans against the Prometheans, a Forerunner race that is hellbent on dominating the universe.

Everything looks and sounds great; Gameplay refinements, particularly slide/evade, permanent sprint ability and iron sights, are all a positive; Some more expansive campaign level design for the series is good to see.

Some flat, uninteresting characters; Campaign tells an incomplete story, with some wheel-spinning/padding and repetition; Companion AI occasionally lets the side down, Copping an earful of abuse from some fun-detonating troglodyte still an occasional hazard

It's the series that made the Xbox format a force to be reckoned with since its launch many years ago in 2002. Since then the Halo series has grown from strength-to-strength and with every new release there's been the anticipation of it pushing the FPS genre forward on console.

This story of the Halo campaign really brings out who the Master Chief is and how he cares about Cortana. I also liked to include Spartan Buck who was in Halo 3 Odst and how he wanted to be a Spartan.

343 has created a masterpiece here with Halo 5: Guardians setting some very interesting and exciting events into motion.

I had the option to flank left, stay central, or flank right in a breathtaking sandy environment riddled with ancient statues on the Elite home world of Sanghelios. I sent my co-op buddy to the left to do some reconnaissance and take out any stragglers that moved away from the group of Covenant...

Still playing this on the single player campaign mode - same sort of thing as the previous ones. Not disappointed- taking the price in to consideration - well worth the money.

now before I start I would like to give everybody an idea how much I love halo. I traded my PlayStation 3 for an xbox 360 just so that I could get halo 3 I loved halo 3 its hands down one of the best games I have ever played no game will ever bring that level of fun ever again I remember it like it...
