I would have given this phone five stars because the phone deserves it but the battery did not provide a similar performance. Unfortunately the battery only provided around four days on standby and had to be replaced with another and the phone now lasts around ten days on standby.

The smartphone market is brimming with life and a lot is happening in the mid-range segment of the same. The high end players have clearly set the stage to cut short the market of the small players. Every brand is busy launching monstrous smartphones and is going all guns blazing.

HTC Salsa
A few years back, not many people had ever heard of HTC. These days, we can't open our inboxes at CNET Australia without being told about yet another HTC mid-range phone. Already this year, we've had the Wildfire S, the Desire S and the ChaCha .
Pros:
- Decent battery life
- Lock screen works really well
- Compact
Cons:
- Camera is only average
- F button is a gimmick, not a feature
- Can't see why you'd opt for the Salsa over the Nexus S

Dont Buy HTC Products I purchased HTC Salsa on 3.10.2011. I have a problem in Internal Storage Capacity. HTC have been mentioned that the internal storage total capacity of HTC Salsa mobile is 512 MB and 512 MB Ram Separately in the mobile pack.
Pros:
- Everything is super
Cons:
- they cheated me.....they r not giving 512mb internal storage
- they giving only 150MB tottaly...

HTC Salsa hands-on
The HTC Salsa is the Taiwanese company's answer to producing their own Facebook phone. With a 3.4-inch, 480 x 320 capacitive touchscreen and 600MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, it not only rivals the INQ Cloud Touch in function but also in specs. We can see there will be a face-off at dawn.

HTC Salsa – tight Facebook integration in a small form factor review
Overall, the HTC Salsa is a good phone for those who use Facebook a lot and if it's priced below $100, will also be a great choice for people who are just buying their first smartphone – they can always just press a button and ask other people how to do something if they don't know :-).

HTC Salsa Review
The first of HTC's so-called Facebook phones, the HTC Salsa , arrived with plenty of fanfare at MWC 2011 back in February – the looming head of Mark Zuckerberg on the big screen, issuing a blanket blessing to all phones that prioritized Facebook integration – then left us scratching our collective...

The HTC Salsa is a well designed, mid-range Android smartphone that integrates superbly with Facebook. It combines a sturdy design, a full touchscreen, and a dedicated Facebook button that allows easy integration with the world's most popular social networking service.
Pros:
- Unibody aluminium design
- Great Facebook software integration
- Latest Android software
Cons:
- Facebook button not a deal breaker
- Poor sunlight legibility
- Vodafone exclusive

HTC Salsa Review
The HTC Salsa offers decent power, impressive battery life and a good screen, as well as handy Facebook features. If you're after a Facebook-focused phone, we reckon the Salsa's a better bet than the HTC ChaCha and INQ Cloud Touch.
