In the end the Facebook button doesn't feel like it adds a great deal to the Salsa, and we think there are some issues with the chassis quality in terms of colour matching of its various parts.

The HTC Salsa Brings new things to your fingertips =:)'
Very reliable phone. Easy use. Compact but not too small. Facebook dedicated.(Don't use this personally but handy.) Battery would let it down by a point because running the music player with the internet and downloading all at once can use it up faster. Otherwise a great phone.

I would have given this phone five stars because the phone deserves it but the battery did not provide a similar performance. Unfortunately the battery only provided around four days on standby and had to be replaced with another and the phone now lasts around ten days on standby.

Review of HTC's Facebook phone, the Salsa
The HTC Salsa is one of the company's initial pair of Android smartphones to feature tight integration with Facebook along with a dedicated Facebook button for sharing. Russell dances with the Salsa in this review, where he tests out the phone's social graces.
Pros:
- Deep Facebook integration
- metal body
- good battery life
Cons:
- Low screen resolution
- slower 800MHz processor causes some lagging
- poor camera

HTC Desire S
As far as my usage of mobiles, there has been so many brands and models that I have tried, and was satisfied with my E71 till I bought HTC Desire S. I generally use almost all features on a smart phone-music, email, chat, youtube, social networking websites, etc.

HTC Salsa
Rumours of a true Facebook phone have been bandied around for ages, but last year Mark Zuckerberg put paid to the idea when he announced the company would never make a Facebook phone. However, it turns out he was being somewhat economical with the truth.
Pros:
- Well built and styled
- Good quality screen
- Surprisingly fast interface
- Feature packed
- Facebook integration genuinely useful
Cons:
- More expensive than other small smartphones
- Only 600MHz processor

HTC Salsa review
There's a slight lack of high-quality action in the mid-sized Android phone section. The big manufacturers are focusing their attentions on creating monstrous, high-end "super-phones" with entire LCD monitors stuffed in their cases, while the smaller phone makers concentrate on offering budget...

HTC Salsa review
The HTC Salsa is a decent little smart phone with an impressive screen, not bad camera and an emphasis on social networking thanks to that very capable Facebook button.

This phone is excellent but the only problem I have is with battery life and memory. No matter how much space you have on your memory card, once your internal memory gets low, you cannot install new apps unless you delete something. This seriously limits its potential.

HTC Salsa
We've constantly compared the Salsa to the ChaCha in this review for a very good reason. While you can't buy the Salsa outright at the current time from Vodafone, it does offer both phones at the same contract price points.
Pros:
- Decent battery life
- Lock screen works really well
- Compact
Cons:
- Camera is only average
- F button is a gimmick
- not a feature
- Can't see why you'd opt for the Salsa over the Nexus S
