HTC Salsa Android phone
The HTC Salsa provides easy integration with the world's most popular social networking service, but its ultimate appeal will depend on how much you use Facebook on a daily basis. The Facebook key is not a deal breaker, but putting that aside, the Salsa remains an excellent value smartphone with a great design. The HTC Salsa is a well designed, mid-range Android smartphone that integrates superbly with Facebook. It combines a sturdy design, a full touchscreen, and a dedicated Facebook button that allows easy integration with the world's most popular social networking service. The HTC Salsa is good value for money, but its ultimate appeal will depend on how much you use Facebook on a daily basis.
Pros:
- Unibody aluminium design
- Great Facebook software integration
- Latest Android software
Cons:
- Facebook button not a deal breaker
- Poor sunlight legibility
- Vodafone exclusive

The HTC Salsa is the 3.4-inch touchscreen version of HTC's two Facebook phones, and I have to say I recommend it only to the most hardcore of Facebook addicts. If you're interested in the other ‘Facebook Phone', check out our HTC ChaCha review , if not, hit the break to get into the Salsa review.
Pros:
- Notification LED
- Dedicated Facebook button
- Dedicated camera button
Cons:
- 480×320 resolution screen
- Occasional lag and crashing apps
- Flash Lite
- Basic hardware specs – 800mhz & 512mb ram
- Minimal space for app data

HTC Salsa review: HTC Salsa
The Salsa is a decent phone, but given that Vodafone will give you a Nexus S for exactly the same money, we're not quite sure why you'd opt for one. A few years back, not many people had ever heard of HTC. These days, we can't open our inboxes at CNET Australia without being told about yet another HTC mid-range phone. Already this year, we've had the Wildfire S, the Desire S and the ChaCha. You can add to the ranks of HTC's mid-range offerings the HTC Salsa. It's named, like the ChaCha, for the Spanish dance, and not so much to a spicy tomato-based sauce per se.
Pros:
- Decent battery life
- Lock screen works really well
- Compact.
Cons:
- Camera is only average
- F button is a gimmick, not a feature
- Can't see why you'd opt for the Salsa over the Nexus S.

"Like" it or not
It takes two to tango, HTC seem to think. The HTC Salsa joins the ChaCha in a bid to treat young Android users to as much Facebook as they can handle. The little blue button makes an appearance again, this time in a more familiar context.

HTC Salsa
We've constantly compared the Salsa to the ChaCha in this review for a very good reason. While you can't buy the Salsa outright at the current time from Vodafone, it does offer both phones at the same contract price points.
Pros:
- Decent battery life
- Lock screen works really well
- Compact
Cons:
- Camera is only average
- F button is a gimmick
- not a feature
- Can't see why you'd opt for the Salsa over the Nexus S

HTC Salsa Android smartphone
HTC has released two 'Facebook phones' of late – the Qwerty-packing ChaCha and the Salsa, the latter being a compact bundle of fun, which wears its dedicated Facebook button just beneath its screen.

The phone performs well but without the finesse of a more expensive HTC like the Sensation, and its design and build quality is questionable in places. But I do think that it has a place of its own in the industry because of the very cool facebook integration and I think I would go as far as buying...

HTC Salsa Review
Here we are at the end of another exciting review, I have to say that during my time with the Salsa there have been some good moments and some annoying ones but my overall opinion is that it is simply a revisited handset with the addition of a facebook button.
