HTC Salsa hands-on
The HTC Salsa is the Taiwanese company's answer to producing their own Facebook phone. With a 3.4-inch, 480 x 320 capacitive touchscreen and 600MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, it not only rivals the INQ Cloud Touch in function but also in specs. We can see there will be a face-off at dawn.

HTC Salsa
HTC launched off its MWC campaign in grand style with the introduction of two key handsets touted as the 'Facebook™ phone'. The HTC ChaCha and the HTC Salsa were launched just yesterday and from the looks of things, HTC Salsa certainly seems like the brighter prospect of the two.
Pros:
- Facebook integration
- Android 2.3 OS
- 5 MP camera

HTC Salsa – tight Facebook integration in a small form factor review
Overall, the HTC Salsa is a good phone for those who use Facebook a lot and if it's priced below $100, will also be a great choice for people who are just buying their first smartphone – they can always just press a button and ask other people how to do something if they don't know :-).

HTC Salsa
Rumours of a true Facebook phone have been bandied around for ages, but last year Mark Zuckerberg put paid to the idea when he announced the company would never make a Facebook phone. However, it turns out he was being somewhat economical with the truth.
Pros:
- Well built and styled
- Good quality screen
- Surprisingly fast interface
- Feature packed
- Facebook integration genuinely useful
Cons:
- More expensive than other small smartphones
- Only 600MHz processor

HTC Salsa review: Never mind the Facebook button, it's a great Android phone
Look, if you know you want a phone with a Facebook button, it's this simple: get the HTC Salsa, or wait for the HTC ChaCha and its QWERTY keyboard (we'll be reviewing it very soon). For everyone else nonplussed about a dedicated button, just ignore it.
Pros:
- HTC Legend-ish design
- solid battery life
Cons:
- Screen is mediocre at best

HTC Salsa Review
The first of HTC's so-called Facebook phones, the HTC Salsa , arrived with plenty of fanfare at MWC 2011 back in February – the looming head of Mark Zuckerberg on the big screen, issuing a blanket blessing to all phones that prioritized Facebook integration – then left us scratching our collective...

HTC Salsa
The HTC Salsa offers decent power, impressive battery life and a good screen, as well as handy Facebook features. If you're after a Facebook-focused phone, we reckon the Salsa's a better bet than the HTC ChaCha and INQ Cloud Touch . Even if you abhor social networking and shun status updates, that...
Pros:
- Appealing design
- front-facing camera for video calls
- excellent battery life
- dedicated Facebook button
Cons:
- No Flash support in browser

HTC Salsa in-depth review -
You might be forgiven for rolling your eyes at the idea of a Facebook phone. They'll be making films about it next. Cynicism aside, the youth market loves social media, and it was only a matter of time before the mobile world jumped on the concept and tried to add their own stamp.
Pros:
- Twitter and Flickr integration is brilliant and simple to navigate
Cons:
- Screen isn?t as impressive as the iPhone 4 or Samsung?s Galaxy S II
- and it's a bit on the slow side and Flash video is technically supported but plays jerkily in-browser
