The ChaCha is one of a pair of FaceBook-centric phones released by HTC, and differentiates itself from the HTC Salsa- and, in fact the majority of HTC's handset range- with a hard-key keyboard that takes up half of the phone's front.

HTC ChaCha Reviewed: QMD for Facebook Fans
This is a fairly powerful quick messaging device from HTC that runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Designed for Facebook addicts it has a full QWERTY keyboard beneath a small landscape screen much like a BlackBerry.

HTC Status Review
Due to the nature of the phone, portrait-only apps don't really work too well on the Status, but that fault lies with the lack of development standards and we can't really blame HTC for that.

HTC Status – a Facebook-oriented Blackberry alternative running Android – user review
The HTC Status is already available for sale on AT&T's network in the US, and you can get it for a low price of $49 with a contract – a really nice deal. If you are a frequent Facebook user, heavy texter or just need a good Blackberry replacement, this phone a great options.

HTC Status Review by Sydney
The Status may be a mid-range Android smartphone, but in a lot of ways, it doesn't act like one. HTC's customizations for the small display are excellent, the keyboard is one of the best I've used, and the dedicated Facebook button is extremely easy and useful.
Pros:
- Excellent keyboard
- Facebook button is very handy
- customized version of HTC Sense works very well on the small display
- good build quality
- decent battery life
Cons:
- Inconsistent 3G data speeds
- poor camera quality
- some apps only work in portrait mode, making it uncomfortable to use those apps

Very Good Phone
I had to choose between samsung galaxy pro, motorola charm and HTC chacha. Finally I decided to buy Chacha, because of it's great looks and speed processor. This phone didn't disappoint me, it has great features and HTC sense is awesome.

HTC ChaCha
What's in a name? HTC's two phones with Facebook access have dance-related monikers. There's the Salsa and this one, the ChaCha (you can just call it your Facebook phone)
