these docking stations are great when they are working. They do not have a long life. Our company has 16 and I would say we have had to replace half. Being used every day their life is roughly 18 months- and HP does not offer any kind of support after that period of time.

Getting the laptop display plus 2 additional monitors to work can be tricky, depending on the laptop being docked; Not a huge deal, just something to consider

The person who asked for this item did research and choose this docking station based on the specs; unfortunately, it did not work with his laptop. I am unsure if the specs were incorrect or if the person requesting the item didn't make sure that the item was compatible.

I run multiple monitors and with a limited number of USB ports and only one serial port, this became a problem, having to use an adapter for one of my monitors, using one of the 3 USB ports on my computer.

I gave 4 stars because of price. Although Walmart had the best price, it's a docking station. Seems HP is making a really good profit. No issues with performance; it does what I need it to do.

It's a great product but the power cables come as one US and one UK. The US one is fine providing you have an adaptor and has the right pin to fit in the dock but the UK one sent is not the right connector and has a 3 point connector like for a tv or a playstation.
