The HP Sprocket Studio ($149.99) is a big step up from the other photo printers in HP's Sprocket line. For one thing, it exclusively produces 4-by-6-inch prints, unlike the petite HP Sprocket Select (which launched concurrently with the Studio), Sprocket Second Edition, and Sprocket Plus, which can only handle wallet-size photos. It also eschews Zink (zero-ink) paper in favor of dye sublimation printing, which generally produces better-quality photos. It's not pocketable like its smaller siblings, though. While it lacks the versatility and speed of the Editors' Choice Canon Selphy CP1300, its good photo quality and affordable cost per print make it a solid alternative for snapshot printing.
