Verdict: The HP ScanJet Pro 4500 fn1 Network Scanner is one of very few networkable flatbed document scanners (with an ADF) that we know of. That-for the same or comparable price as its competitors-it comes ready, out of the box, to support both Wi-Fi and Ethernet, makes it an exceptional value.
Pros: Fast scanning and saving to searchable PDF. Supports both Ethernet and Wi-Fi. Respectable OCR Accuracy. Single-pass ADF

Verdict: HP ScanJet Pro 4500fn1 Flatbed Scanner is a perfect choice for businesses especially where numerous scanning jobs are being done every day. It can easily manage and scan several documents in one run. As well as its perfect in OCR and enables you to scan text documents and get an editable text file.
Pros: Fast scanner, good DPI, wireless scanning, network connectivity to share scanned docs

Verdict: GOT ONE ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO--IT WENT BAD IN LESS THAN A YEAR HP REPLACED IT WITH ONE THAT LASTED LESS THAN A YEAR HP WON'T REPLACE IT BECAUSE IT IS UNDER THE WARRANTY OF THE FIRST ONE THAT WENT BAD

This was real easy to set up

Verdict: This was real easy to set up...straight out of the box. I typically scan reports (appraisals and engineering) and the pages glide effortlessly through the feeder.I really like the screen display, which has simple scanning options: to network folder, to computer, to e-mail.
