Hewlett Packard 7500 Flatbed Scanner

Have had it only for two weeks. Performed flawlessly; did both sides easily and rapidly. Cleaned up my backlog over several sessions. Scanned books and single pages accurately. The only glitches were due to my learning curve ... too impatient to read directions. Install a no brainer.

HP Scanjet Enterprise Flow 7500 Flatbed Scanner

The HP Scanjet Enterprise Flow 7500 Flatbed Scanner is a document scanner that includes both a flatbed and an automatic document feeder (ADF) for scanning at legal size and longer. This USB-connected scanner has a good software selection, and lets you scan to a range of destinations.

Good software selection; LCD for selecting scan profiles; Flatbed and 100-sheet ADF

Loses a good bit of time in scanning to searchable PDF

My first scanner, an HP flatbed Scanjet capable of scanning only one side of one page at time-without you having to manually load and unload the next sheet, that is. And, even worse, it supported only 256 shades of gray; it couldn't scan colors (All scans were converted to grayscale.

Processing of the order as well as shipping was prompt. The scanner itself works great - very fast and easy to use!

Not Happy with Durability

It was working fine for a year but then it just started to have problems. I wish the warranty was over a year so I didn't pay that much for something that didn't last. Considering the price it should last longer and when it doesn't it should be easier to find parts.
