#Reason for my purchase: had to purchase this because my previous HP Pavilion DV6 - 2012 model is already 6 years old & its performance is slowing down, thanks to its outdated hardware!

This is my first HP and it will be my last. It is just dreadful. It's slow and getting past HPs adverts and their partners constant self promotions is a battle. It's awful, avoid at all costs. I would return it if I could. Useless

I am having trouble with Windows which has already been installed in the laptop. Also I am having trouble in Msoffice and tabs are opening automatically without me opening it. Worst product I have ever bought.

This HP Pavilion is one of the best laptops I have ever owned. I'm currently using it for video editing and gaming video capture for my Youtube channel and so far so good. The product is very thin as expected, but as others mentioned, it comes with only a 5400rpm HDD, not that good hard drive in a sense. Bought it at 699 plus tax, a week after that, price drops to 689.

Very fast and easy to set up

Advertised that Windows is installed however neglects to advertise it is only a 30 day trial period; It would be good if a double ended USB data cable was part of the package; Hard to come by however makes laplinking easy

My initial impressions of this HP Pavilion i3-8130U are very good. Its slim, lightweight, and even with a decent sized keyboard and number pad its very portable. The stylish polished silver finish looks really nice and most importantly of all having used it for a couple of weeks, it suits my needs...

This is a great laptop. Quite light and just the right size to use it at home and take it on the occasional trip. The amount of RAM is just right at 12GB - 8GB is not really enough to process photos for example. There's a lot of connectivity with bluetooth, two standard USB 3.0 ports and one USB C.

I needed a laptop ASAP as my last one died..this one was at my doorstep in 48 hours! My IT guy was able to salvage all my files from my old laptop..this one is faster than my last one but some of the updates that are required have slowed it down considerably..
